50 killed in mosque bombing in Afghanistan
A bomb blast near the Gojar-e-Syed Abad mosque in the northeastern Afghan province of Kunduz has killed at least two people. At least 50 people were killed in the incident. The bomber struck shortly after noon on Friday (October 8th) during Friday prayers. A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a tweet that a bomb had exploded at the Gojar-e-Syed Abad mosque.
